1. BACKGROUND:-

Wockhardt Foundation is a national, not-for -profit organization engaged in social service and human welfare activities. Its programme has made a perceptible change in its area of operation to the lives of the underprivileged.

The Hunger Project initiative of Wockhardt Foundation identifies hunger prevailing in Mumbai. The project provides 1 healthy, nutritious meal per day to orphans.

2. Policy Statement:-

In order to comply with applicable laws, Hunger Project shall maintain a database of each such Donor. Hunger Project is committed to protecting the privacy, confidentiality and accuracy of personally identifiable information of such Donors in accordance with applicable law. Other than as required by laws that authorize public access to certain types of information, or in response to court orders legal instruments that authorize disclosure, Hunger Project shall not part with any personally identifiable information. The information collected by Hunger Project will be within its control and in a manner consistent with applicable laws, existing regulations, Foundation policies and principles which guide such collection.

This Refund Policy sets forth our understanding with you on the collection and refund of your donation. Please read the entire Refund Policy.

Your use of the website constitutes your consent to all the terms and conditions contained in this Refund Policy (as amended from time to time) and you shall be bound by the same.

3. Scope of Policy

This Refund Policy is applicable to all Donors who make a donation, towards Hunger Project and various initiatives by Wockhardt Foundation.

4. Donations

1. Refund Statement

   Hunger Project takes the utmost care to process donations as per the instructions given by the Donors. Hunger Project expects that all donors will exercise due care and diligence while making donations. With your support, we are able to help orphans to get nutritious food. Generally, a donation for Hunger Project is, like all charitable donations, which are non-refundable. Decisions on refunds will be made on case-to-case basis after analysis of the particular circumstances of the donation.

2. Donations and Refunds

   Hunger Project will consider a refund in the specific circumstances listed below upon a valid & justified request from the donor:

   • We will refund your donation if there was an error made by Hunger Project.
   • We will refund your donation if the donation was made unknowingly, for example in a situation where a donation was made with a stolen or lost card.
   • We may refund if you have accidentally entered the wrong amount.
   • We may refund if you have accidentally created a monthly donation whereas your intention was to make a one-off donation.
   • We may refund in other similar exceptional circumstances.
3. Refund Terms and Conditions
   • To request a refund of your donation made to Hunger Project, please contact us and request a refund within 7 days after the date of making the donation.
   • As your donation received is swiftly employed to one of the Orphan, Hunger Project will be able to refund any donations within 30 days from the date of receipt of your refund request in all situations.
   • We can only issue a refund to the same card or account from which the donation was made. This includes all credit and debit card payments, PayPal, direct debit, and all other payment methods currently available at our website.
   • Additionally, the Donor will not be entitled to revoke the donation for the amount pledged simply owing to a change of mind. The donations made shall be irrevocable and Hunger Project will not be liable to cater to such requests of the Donor.
   • Under no circumstances, Hunger Project is obliged to make refunds and may, in its discretion, decline any requests for refund of donations, particularly if a tax exemption certificate has been issued.

5. Variation of the Refund Policy

Hunger Project shall be absolutely entitled at its sole discretion from time to time add to, alter, delete or modify any of the terms and conditions contained herein. Such changes, additions, alterations, deletions or modifications shall be binding on you once you visit the Site after the Privacy Policy has been so amended.
