1. BACKGROUND:-

Wockhardt Foundation is a national, not-for-profit organization engaged in social service and human welfare activities. Its programme has made a perceptible change in its area of operation to the lives of the underprivileged.

Mobile 1000, its flagship programme, aims at operating 1000 Mobile Health Vans in rural India and administering free primary healthcare to 25 million Indians every year. As of date, there are 208 Mobile 1000 vans operating in 22 States and 1 Union Territory administering free primary healthcare to more than 2 million Indians in rural & remote parts of India.

Its sanitation programme- Pronto Toilets is part of the Prime Minister’s Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. It has now undertaken an ambitious plan of constructing more than 60,000 household toilets in Orissa.

Its other programmes like E-learning, Wockhardt Skills Development Institute, Annaj+, Help me serve and various other initiatives have made significant impact and it continues to expand its social coverage in area where the needs are the most.

The Hunger Project initiative of Wockhardt Foundation identifies hunger prevailing in Mumbai. The project provides 1 healthy, nutritious meal per day to the homeless and to those living in slum areas.

    Site Browsing:

    You browse the Site anonymously. We do not require you to identify yourself or reveal any Personal Information while browsing through the Site. Permission is given to use the resources of this Site only for the limited purposes of making enquiries, making a donation or placing an order for the purchase of Hunger Project products. Any other use, including the reproduction, modification, distribution, transmission, republication, display or performance, of the content on this Site can only be made with the express permission of Hunger Project.

    All other trademarks, brands and copyrights other than those belonging to Hunger Project belong to their respective owners and are their property.

  11. DONATIONS:

    Hunger Project takes the utmost care to process donations as per the instructions given by our donors, online and offline. All donations once processed will not be refunded. The ETG receipt will be issued to the donor only after the donation is reflected/ credited in the Hunger Project account.

    Recurring Payments: You can link your debit card, credit card or a bank account as a stored method of online payment. The online donations to Hunger Project through your preferred method of Payment shall be on a recurring basis. Once a payment is processed, it cannot be cancelled and Hunger Project will have no obligation to honour, stop, correct, reverse or recall the payment. The recurring donations authorize Hunger Project to store and automatically charge your selected method of payment in the payment amount, without further consent or instructions from you. Hunger Project shall not be liable for any penalty charge(s) levied by any bank or other financial institution upon you, in case of dishonour of a transaction for any reason(s). You shall additionally be liable in case of any penalty that might be charged to Hunger Project if the recurring payment(s) through NEFT (NAACH) has failed.

    In case of any changes made in the stored method of Payment, the recurring payment(s) associated with it may be temporarily paused or cancelled. Nevertheless in such a case, you may still owe such payment to Hunger Project. If at any time you wish to stop the donations, you may contact your concerned Bank(s) to that effect and cancel the recurring transactions, before the next scheduled payment.

  12. APPLICABLE LAW AND DISPUTE STATEMENT:
    • You agree these terms and any contractual relationship arising out of these terms or use of the Site or Services or User Services, shall be governed by and construed solely and exclusively in accordance with the Indian laws.
    • You hereby agree that any action at law or in equity, arising out of or relating to these Terms and Conditions, including but not limited to arbitration or any issue arising out of the arbitration proceedings, appointment of arbitrator, grant of injunction, which is arising from this site, shall be filed only in the Courts at Mumbai.
    • The User hereby consents and submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of Courts of competent jurisdiction at Mumbai, India, which shall be to the exclusion of all other courts in India or any other country.
    • Any dispute, claim or controversy arising out of or relating to this site, including the determination of the scope or applicability of this site to arbitrate, or your use of the Site or information to which it gives access, shall be determined by Arbitration, before a sole arbitrator appointed by Wockhardt Foundation.
    • Arbitration shall be conducted in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
    • The seat and venue of such arbitration shall be at Mumbai.
    • All proceedings of such arbitration, including, without limitation, any awards, shall be in the English language.
    • The award shall be final and binding on the parties to the dispute.
